Mountainside Mobile Physical Therapy, Inc. is contracted with Traditional Medicare and accepts Medicare insurance. Many people who have Medicare and a Medi-gap policy have no out of pocket costs for our services. We are out-of-network for all other insurances and can provide you with a superbill if you would like to seek reimbursement yourself. Cash Pay services are available. Please call us to discuss your specific insurance coverage and needs.
At Mountainside Mobile Physical Therapy, Inc. we drive to your home at no extra charge. This means you don't have to worry about high gas prices, leaving a loved one alone at home, finding child care, securing costly transportation services, or driving in extreme weather.
No, you do not need a referral to get started. California is a direct access state, which allows you to see a physical therapist for 45 days or 12 visits (which ever comes first) before you need a referral. A doctor's referral is always preferred and can be faxed to us at (925) 940-9505.
At Mountainside Mobile Physical Therapy, Inc. we treat a variety of conditions including post operative hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries, balance issues, weakness, post hospitalization deconditioning, fall prevention and pain.
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows you to move easily. Most importantly, wear non-slip footwear with a closed toe and closed heel.
Mountainside Mobile Physical Therapy, Inc. brings all the equipment needed for treatment. Items may include a theraball, foam roller, balance board, ice packs or resistance bands. We do ask that you provide adequate space for treatment in the home, such as in your living room or kitchen.
No, Mountainside Mobile Physical Therapy, Inc. is not a home health agency. You do not need to be home bound to recieve services. We are an outpatient physical therapy company that provides treatment in your home instead of in a brick and mortar building. We do not provide skilled nursing services, wound care, or bathing assist. Our services are often a perfect fit for individuals who have completed home health but are still not 100% recovered.
